Welcome back to Wom!Wam!, the site full of fotos, filmclips, and features on your secret fetish for the classic femme fatale, circa 1940-1970.
After a pause, we’re back, and hopefully, with a few surprises in store.
(Oh, don’t worry darling. There’s nothing dangerous in that cocktail I just mixed you. Honestly… don’t you trust me? Drink up!)
Ever since we renewed the site registration and started backing up the old files, we’ve been getting 4-5 emails a day from fervent aficionados practically begging to bring WomWam back in all its glory. Reading these petitions, one would think some of you have an actual death wish.
(Do you want me to seduce you? Is that what you’re trying to say?)
Unfortunately, we’re feeling a bit like Chicken Little. Everyone wants to enjoy the site, but — despite a lot of high promises and importunate pleadings — few correspondents are able to do much to actually help plant the seeds, harvest the wheat, or bake the bread.
This Wom!Wam! updates blog is a partial solution. Each time we restore a page, we’ll post an update here. You’ll be able to literally watch WomWam come back piece by piece — kind of like a slow-acting poison, coursing through your veins.
That said, it would be nice to speed up the operation. If you can help, we need everything from programmers to .html editors to graphic artists to humble worker drones able to surf the web, perform basic research, send emails, point and click.
While we’d prefer this type of time-and-effort contribution, for those of you who are busy but want to help the site, we will take paypal, amazon, greendot, and similar contributions.
Even if you can’t donate your time, this blog is also designed to help you play a role in the site’s rebuilding. If there’s a particular WomWam actress, movie, or filia that you’re dying to see restored, you’re welcome to post a reply here on the blog, or send an email to editrix [insert little "a" symbol] womwam.net.
Seriously, darling, just let us know what you’d like… open up a little bit. Loosen your tie… turn out the lights… Your secret is safe with me.

Oh god ma’am! Just reading your initial post got me all hot and bothered. Yes I trust you and i’ll take that drink. I’m sorry I was unable to help so far. I don’t have the computer skills you apparently need. But, I could do some research if you wish you give me a topic or subject to look for. Thank you ever so much for bringing back one of my most favorite sites

You’re welcome, thanks for the fan mail. Don’t expect the world, boys; we’re just getting started with the basic architecture pages, and we’ll go from there.
As for helping, you’re welcome to, and you don’t need any special skills. Anyone who can log onto the internet and post a message or send an email already has three skills relevant to what we need —

Hello-o-o-o-o-o!!!
As Louis Armstrong sang, “It’s so nice to have you back where you belong!”
At this late hour I must hit the sack for the night, but I’ll return tomorrow. WomWam was a great site, and will be all the greater for the renewal. And will the site owner please rejoin my Yahoo! ‘DeanMartinTVShow’ group? Big news there!
Thanksa very much from Ralph!
Nice to have you back where you belong, too…. in fact, where do you belong? My shoes are a bit scuffed after a late night out.
I don’t remember any DeanMartinTVShow group, but it sounds great. Perhaps the greatest singer ever, and who does not love the Matt Helm series? Weren’t his dangers the Golddiggers? Ladies after my own heart.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up. If you’d like to work up a WomWam piece on the ladies of Dean’s TV show, it’d be welcome.

TINA LOUISE AS GINGER GRANT!!!!! Loved all of the info you had on her on the on the original site. Please re-post the entire content, and any thing else relevant to her in that role. Her type of sexuality has not been seen since.
We’d be happy to get the Ginger Grant pages back up. There’s a lot of work to do on that. If you’re interested, drop us an email. — The Editrix

Thanks for returning one of only a couple of sites that celebrate the lethality of Dolores Gray’s character Madeline Bradville from the musical “It’s always Fair Weather”.
For the time being I’ll take the name of one Ms. Gray’s victims whom she greeted then gunned down.

I was very pleased to find this web-site.I needed to thanks in your time for this glorious read!! I positively having fun with every little bit of it and I’ve you bookmarked to check out new stuff you blog post.
This might be a bit presumptuous of me, but I figured I might as well ask. I’m trying to put together an entry for tvtropes (perhaps you’re familiar with it). The trope I’m trying to illustrate has much to do with the “entertainer” archetype you’ve keenly identified. I recall that WOm!WAm! used to have an impressive collection of scenes involving this archetype. By any chance, do you still have the list of films featuring these scenes?
yes, feel free to pop me an email – editrix
